Beacon Arts Street Fair - May 2025

We will be vending our Seattle neighborhood map art at Beacon Arts Street Fair event on Saturday, 5/10 from 11am-5pm.

Fair Bucks for Kids at the Street Fair: The first 50 children to complete the Beacon Arts scavenger hunt will receive a $10 in Fair Bucks Ticket to spend at art and food booths. This program aims to make the Street Fair more accessible for families, especially those on a tighter budget, allowing everyone to enjoy and participate fully.

Art Installation - Brighter Days Festival at Cal Anderson Park

‘Artificial Gravity’ is a pop-up public art installation by Artist Yes Segura (He/They)MSP, Founder of Smash the Box. This installation will transform the Cal Anderson Park Shelter House, with interactive configurations that evoke a fun and playful experience during the Brighter Days Day Festival hosted by House Party Seattle on October 6th, 2024 12pm-9pm.

“Good Vibes: Cal Anderson Park”,is a pilot program created to support the Seattle community in feeling more safety, connection, and joy at the park through park activation events and opening FREE (or highly discounted) community rooms for use.

This fall, Wa Na Wari will host its 4th annual Walk the Block, the biggest Black arts festival in the Northwest! Walk the Block is Wa Na Wari’s annual fundraiser event, which will be spanned over 2-days September 27th + September 28th in Seattle’s historic Black neighborhood the Central District.

Celebrate Smash the Box and other amazing artists at the ACES: Seattle Restored Art Market at KEXP! The 6th annual Artists of Color Expo and Symposium (ACES) celebrates artists of color throughout the Pacific Northwest!

Taking place this year at KEXP (Seattle Center), join us for a full day of programming, including visual art exhibitions, film screenings, live performances, an art market (presented by Seattle Restored), workshops, and demos. This event is free and open to the public, and appropriate for all-ages.
